TATTOO ERASE

A NEW, HIGHLY EFFECTIVE WAY OF GENTLY REMOVING ALL COLOURS  WITHOUT USING A LASER

A tattoo stays in place by hiding just under the skin’s surface and fooling your body that it is not there.

TATTOO ERASE uses natural products and places them over the top of the tattoo.  These natural products help your body to recognize the foreign material.  Your body then expels the pigments forming the tattoo.  All colours react in the same way.  The fluid is injected over the pigment using a tattoo gun, so the sensation is similar to when you originally had the tattoo done. Aftercare is also similar to the original tattoo.  The skin will be covered initially and kept dry for 24 hours.

The skin will form small scabs over the treated areas. When the scabs fall off (this usually takes between 3-21 days) the ink goes with it.  The areas treated will then be red, fading over the next six weeks or so back to normal skin colour.  Unless the tattoo is a ‘cover-up’ all of the ink is removed from each treated area so this is not a fading process.

The skin MUST have returned to normal before we will re-treat the same area. It is normally about 8-10 weeks between treatments.  Because we are working with the body, we need to give it time to work and recover.

Nd YAG LASER

INTRODUCING THE VERY LATEST
IN LASER TECHNOLOGY

We use the very latest Q-Switched NdYag laser which delivers a high powered beam of laser in an extremely short pulse which is the most suitable type of light energy for removing tattoos.  The beam of light passes through the top layer of the skin and is absorbed by the ink particles in the tattoo, breaking them down into smaller pieces, enabling your body’s natural immune system to absorb and disperse the ink. a clicking noise is heard as the ink absorbs energy. The tattoo then fades over a number of treatments.

After treatment a soothing antiseptic cream and a light gauze dressing is applied. The treated area should be kept dry for 24 hours.

The skin will be red and swollen for a few days and may develop small blisters. The skin has to have returned to normal before we will re-treat the same area.  Because we are working with the body, we need to give it time to work and recover.  The number of sessions you will need depends on the size of the tattoo the and density of the ink. Treatments would normally be  about 4-6 weeks apart depending on your own healing process.

Some colours do not respond as well as others to laser energy - green, red and purple for instance.
